*********

Congratulations to the following Hawks players who have reached football milestone games since 2007. Milestones acknowledged are 100, 200, 250, 300 & 350. The Lameroo Football Club are proud to be associated with these men who show courage, committment and loyalty to their beloved Hawks.

350 GAMES

LYNTON BARRETT

#2 bass

Congratulations to Lynton “BAZ” Barrett who played his 350th Senior Game for the Lameroo Hawks Football Club on the 2nd August 2008. Lynton is in an elite rank of players to achieve 350 games of football for Lameroo. He is undoubtedly one of Lameroo's favourite footballing sons. Baz was a proud Southie & is an even prouder Hawk, experiencing the highs and lows of football through premiership wins, losses and untimely injuries. Lynton was club captain for two years: 1992 & 1993. He is a gutsy footballer and exudes a natural football ability envied by many throughout the Mallee Football League. Baz is a worthy recipient of 2 Moyle Medals, 1 B grade & 7 A grade Premierships. His love for footy spilled over to the coaching arena; coaching both the AUSKICK & Junior Colts. He has been an important member of the Lameroo Hawks Football Committee & the Lameroo Sports & Social Club General Committee. He has forged many lifelong friendships through the years and when BAZ eventually hangs up the boots he will have stamped his mark in the memories of many and no one doubts he will continue to fly the flag for the Hawks.

ROGER PAHL

#19roger

Congratulations to Roger Pahl who played his 300th game for The Lameroo Football Club on the 5th May 2007. Roger is well known for his steady hands and booming left kick; he is a quiet achiever that just goes about his business. As a defender he is rarely beaten and as a forward he is equally as reliable. Although no longer playing footy he has continued to be a loyal servant to the Lameroo Football Club. Roger you are a true club champion

WAYNE BARRETT

# 41 wobbly

Congratulations to Wayne Barrett who played his 200th Senior Game for the Lameroo Hawks Football Club on the 28th June 2008. While Wayne may not have had the mobility he would have liked, he has always been able to take a good strong mark & kick long and true. He is a versatile player, able to play up forward, in the back lines and in the centre doing the ruck work. Wayne has been an active member on the Lameroo Football Club Committee & Sports & Social Club Committee. He also spent a rewarding year training The AUSKICK boys. Wayne may be in semi-retirement from football but is still active with the juniors as his sons are moving up through the ranks of the club.

200 GAMES

RODNEY MAYNARD

#18 sdfsf

Congratulations to Rodney Maynard who played his 200th game for The Lameroo Football Club on the 26th April 2008. Rodney will clearly be remembered as the Mallee Football League's greatest son. Rocket is famous for giving back to Country Football and especially to his beloved Hawks. He has the steadiest hands in the League and is ever reliable all over the ground. It is Rocket's career and passion for the Lameroo Football Club that we honour him today. Rodney is a true Hawks champion and a loyal servant to the footballing community. Rocket coached Lameroo A Grade for six years: 1999, 2000, 2001 & 2002 and again in 2005 & 2006. In 2007 Rodney Coached both A & B grades of football. He held the Captaincy position for 3 years and has been awarded Club Best & Fairest on 10 occasions. Although a loyal & true Hawk Man, he has also been an integral member (Player, Coach, Captain & Runner) of Association Matches for The Mallee Football League.

BRADLEY YOUNG

#53 youngy

Congratulations to Bradley Young who played his 200th game for The Lameroo Football Club on the 14th April 2007. Bradley is an asset to the Lameroo Football Club; he plays a fast and energetic style of football, no differently than when he was a colt. He amasses many touches, is fast all over the ground and favours on ball positions.
